Spot market electricity prices for Sunday, July 23

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to 1.28 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 3,228.61 Turkish liras at 8.00 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), according to official figures on Friday.

The lowest rate is determined as 1,475.49 liras at 7.00 a.m. and 12 p.m. local time (0400 and 0900 GMT), the figures showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Friday's electricity market showed a decrease of 10.8% to 1.28 billion liras compared to Thursday.

The arithmetical and weighted average prices of electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,427.37 liras and 2,422.33 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Friday was set at 3,429.40 liras at 9.00 a.m. local time (0600 GMT), while the lowest rate is determined as 1,750.01 liras at 3.00 a.m. local time (0000 GMT), according to the official figures.

US$1 equals 17.74 liras at 2.17 p.m. local time (1117 GMT) on Friday.
