Spot market electricity prices for Sunday, July 10

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to 530.2 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 3,750 Turkish liras at 08.00 and 09.00 p.m. local time (1700 and 1800 GMT), according to official figures on Saturday.

The lowest rate is determined as 99.95 liras at 08.00 a.m. local time (0500 GMT), the figures showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Saturday's electricity market showed a decrease of 12.7% to 530.2 million liras compared to Friday.

The arithmetical and weighted average prices of electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,335.73 liras and 1,336.02 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Saturday was set at 3,650 Turkish liras at 06.00 p.m. local time (1500 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 100 liras between 11.00 a.m. and 02.00 p.m. local time (0800 - 1100 GMT).

US$1 equals 17.27 liras at 1116 GMT on Saturday.
