Spot market electricity prices for Sunday, Jan. 2

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to 481.73 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkey's day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 1,345 Turkish liras at 11.00 local time (0800GMT), while the lowest will be 798.03 liras at 07.00 local time (0400GMT), according to official figures on Saturday.

Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Saturday's electricity market showed a decrease of 4.7% to 481.73 million liras compared to Friday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 1.033,96 liras and 1,045,72 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Saturday was set as 1,345 Turkish liras between 16.00 and 21.00 local time (1300 and 1800GMT), while the lowest will be 725 liras at 05.00 local time (0200GMT).

US$1 equals 13.27 Turkish liras at 1112GMT on Saturday.
