The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 2,876 Turkish liras at 9 p.m. local time (1800 GMT), according to official figures released Saturday.
The lowest rate was set at 0 liras between 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. local time (0800-1000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Sunday's electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 32.7% to around 577.98 million liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 1,077.75 liras and 1,125.52 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Saturday was set at 3,245.99 Turkish liras at 6 p.m. local time (1500 GMT), while the lowest was set at 171.01 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 43.83 liras at 2.27 p.m. local time (1127 GMT) on Saturday.
