Spot market electricity prices for Sunday, Feb. 20

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to 544.08 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Turkiye's day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 1,524 Turkish liras between 00.00 and 06.00 local time (2100-0300 GMT), and between 20.00 and 21.00 local time (1700-1800 GMT), while the lowest is determined as 599.99 liras at 15.00 local time (1200 GMT), according to official figures on Saturday.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Saturday's electricity market showed a decrease of 20.8% to 544.08 million liras compared to Friday.

The arithmetical and weighted average prices of electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,275.51 liras and 1,257.01 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Thursday was set as 1,524 Turkish liras between 00.00 and 10.00 local time (2100-0700 GMT) and between 18.00 and 23.00 local time (1500-2000 GMT), with the lowest at 1,003.63 liras at 16.00 local time (1300 GMT).

US$1 equals 13.66 liras at 1120 GMT on Saturday.
