Spot market electricity prices for Sunday, April 17

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to 1,145 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Turkiye's day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 2,500 Turkish liras at between 00.00 - 01.00 local time (21.00 - 2200 GMT) and 04.00 - 05.00 local time (01.00 - 0200 GMT), according to official figures on Saturday.

The lowest is determined as 945.75 liras at 23.00 local time (2000 GMT), the figures show.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Saturday's electricity market showed a decrease of 16.3% to 958.37 million liras compared to Friday.

The arithmetical and weighted average prices of electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,076.92 liras and 2,078.53 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Friday was set as 2,500 Turkish liras at between 18.00 - 21.00 local time (15.00 - 1800 GMT), with the lowest at 897.99 liras at 07.00 local time (0400 GMT).

US$1 equals 14.64 liras at 1125 GMT on Saturday.
