Spot market electricity prices for Saturday, Oct. 16

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to 324.9 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkey's day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 1,078 Turkish liras between 18.00 and 21.00 local time (1500-1800 GMT), while the lowest will be 124.99 liras at 12.00 local time (0900 GMT), according to official figures on Friday.

Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Friday's electricity market showed a decrease of 4.92% to 324.9 million liras compared to Thursday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 613.72 liras and 606.72 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Friday was set as 718 liras between 09.00 and 11.00 (0600-0800 GMT) and 14.00 and 20.00 local time (1100-1700 GMT), with the lowest at 450.81 liras at 04.00 local time (0100 GMT).

US$1 equals 9.22 Turkish liras at 1131 GMT on Friday.
