The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 3,399.46 Turkish liras at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. (1500-1600 GMT), according to official figures released Friday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,000 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Friday's electricity market trade volume shows a decrease of 16.3% to around 1.52 billion liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,615.15 liras and 2,617.10 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set at 3,400 liras at 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. (1400, 1800 GMT), while the lowest was 1,474.69 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 41.82 liras at 2.19 p.m. local time (1119 GMT) on Friday.
