The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 3,400 Turkish liras 8 a.m. local time and between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time (0500 and 1400-1700 GMT), according to official figures released Friday.
The lowest rate was set at 2,384 liras at 1 a.m. local time (2200 GMT on Friday), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Friday's electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 4.7% to around 1.58 billion liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,947.29 liras and 2,963 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Friday was set at 3,400 liras between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. local time and between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time (0400-0600 and 1300-1700 GMT), while the lowest was set at 1,719.98 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 42.50 liras at 2.12 p.m. local time (1112 GMT) on Friday.
