The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 3,400 Turkish liras between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1600-1800 GMT), according to official figures released on Friday.
The lowest rate is set at 249.99 liras at 3 p.m. local time (1500 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Saturday’s electricity market shows a decrease of 22% to around 1.19 million liras compared to Friday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,199.24 liras and 2,191.74 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt hour for Friday was set at 3,399.54 Turkish liras between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. local time (0500-0600 GMT), while the lowest was at 1,000 liras at 3 p.m. local time (1200 GMT).
US$1 equals 38.57 liras at 2.00 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Friday.
