Spot market electricity prices for Saturday, March 28

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade volume amounts to 627.1 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 3,400 Turkish liras at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time (1600 and 1700 GMT), according to official figures released Friday.

The lowest rate is set at 164.91 liras at 10 a.m. local time (0700 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Saturday's electricity market trade volume showed an increase of 11.9% to around 627.1 million liras compared to Friday.

The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 991.14 liras and 1,110.10 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Friday was set at 3,199.47 liras at 7 p.m. local time (1600 GMT), the data showed.

US$1 equals 44.46 liras at 2.32 p.m. local time (1132 GMT) on Thursday.
