The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 3,050 Turkish liras between at 06.00 p.m. and 08.00 p.m (1300-1700 GMT) according to official figures on Friday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,499.98 liras at 4 p.m. (1300 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Friday’s electricity market showed a decrease of 7.7% to 1.14 billion liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,270.83 liras and 2,260.28 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Friday was set as 3,050 Turkish liras at 9 a.m. (0600 GMT), and between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. (1500 and 1700 GMT) while the lowest rate was determined as 1,724.99 liras at 12 p.m. (2100 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 19.07 liras at 2.20 p.m. local time (1120 GMT) on Friday.
