Spot market electricity prices for Saturday, March 23

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to around 1.42 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 2,700 Turkish liras between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1500 - 1800 GMT), according to official figures on Friday.

The lowest rate was set at 1,916.65 at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Saturday's electricity market shows a decrease of 10.1% to around 1.42 billion liras compared to Friday.

The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,341.98 liras and 2,341.19 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Friday was set as 2,700 liras between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1500 - 1800 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 1,449.99 at 1 p.m. local time (1000 GMT).

US$1 equals 32.02 liras at 2.10 p.m. local time (1110 GMT) on Friday.
