Spot market electricity prices for Saturday, June 29

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to around 1.26 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 2,699.90 Turkish liras at 9 p.m. local time (1800 GMT), according to official figures on Friday.

The lowest rate was set at 250.01 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Saturday's electricity market shows a decline of 24.4% to around 1.26 billion liras compared to Friday.

The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,940.89 liras and 1,946.35 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Friday was set at 2,700 Turkish liras between 12 a.m. and 2 a.m. and at 9 a.m. local time (between 2100 - 2300 GMT on Thursday and at 0600 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined at 1,894.98 liras at 1 p.m. local time (1000 GMT).

US$1 equals 32.89 liras at 2.17 p.m. local time (1117 GMT) on Friday.
