Spot market electricity prices for Saturday, June 28

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade volume amounts to 1.67 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 3,400 Turkish liras between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1600-1800 GMT), according to official figures released on Friday.

The lowest rate was set at 1,374.69 liras at 10 a.m. local time (0700 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Friday's electricity market shows a decrease of %14.8 to around 1.67 billion liras compared to Thursday.

The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,576.35 liras and 2,558.62 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt hour for Thursday was set at be 3,400 liras between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1600-1800 GMT), while the lowest was set at 1,539.98 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).

US$1 equals 39.88 liras at 2.19 p.m. local time (1119 GMT) on Friday.
