Spot market electricity prices for Saturday, July 29

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to around 798.8 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 2,500 Turkish liras at 7 p.m. (1600 GMT), according to official figures on Friday.

The lowest rate was set at 979.99 liras at 12 a.m. (0900 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Friday's electricity market showed a decrease of 22.8% to around 798.8 million liras compared to Thursday.

The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,712.41 liras and 1,723.80 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Friday was set at 2,582 Turkish liras at 7 p.m. (1600 GMT), while the lowest rate was confirmed at 1,500 liras at 12 a.m. (0900 GMT), according to official figures.

US$1 equals 26.9 liras at 2.23 p.m. local time (1123 GMT) on Friday.
