Spot market electricity prices for Saturday, July 24

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade volume amounts to 275.05 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkey's day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 617 Turkish liras between 18.00 and 22.00 local time while the lowest will be 352.08 liras at 06.00 local time, according to official figures on Friday.

Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Friday's electricity market showed an increase of 22.9% to 275.05 million liras compared to Thursday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 493.09 liras and 495.02 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market on Thursday was 617 Turkish liras at 617 Turkish liras between 20.00 and 23.00 local time while the lowest at 345.45 liras at 09.00 local time.

US$1 equals 8.55 Turkish liras at 1348 GMT on Friday.
