Spot market electricity prices for Saturday, Jan. 6

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows trade volume as 65.58 million Turkish liras for electricity market

The highest electricity rate for one-megawatt hour in the day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 199.99 Turkish liras at 11.00 local time, the lowest will be 135.36 liras at 04.00 local time, according to official figures on Friday.

Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume in Friday's electricity market decreased by 5.65 percent to 65.58 million liras compared to Thursday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity for the day-ahead spot market on Saturday is calculated as 170.61 liras and 172.17 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour for Friday was 204.39 liras at 09.00 local time, the lowest was 118.69 liras at 01.00, 02.00 and 03.00 local time.

US$1 equals 3.76 liras, according to Turkey's Central Bank data.
