Spot market electricity prices for Saturday, Feb. 7

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade volume amounts to 1.47 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 3,400 Turkish liras at 9 a.m., 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. (0600, 1500 and 1600 GMT), according to official figures released Friday.

The lowest rate was set at 1,075 liras at 4 a.m. local time (0100 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Friday's electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 1.02% to around 1.47 billion liras compared to Thursday.

The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,481.72 liras and 2,516.25 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Friday was set at 3,400 liras between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m., 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. (0500-0800, 1400, 1500 GMT), while the lowest was set at 1,000.01 liras at 2 a.m. and 3 a.m. local time (2300, 0000 GMT), the data showed.

US$1 equals 43.61 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Friday.
