Spot market electricity prices for Saturday, Feb. 22

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade volume amounts to 149.28 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity rate for one-megawatt hour in the day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 328.84 Turkish liras at 11.00 local time, and the lowest will be 220.65 liras at 16.00 local time, according to official figures on Friday.

Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the electricity market's trade volume on Friday showed a decrease of 5.35% to 149.28 million liras compared to Thursday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity for the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 301.03 liras and 302.82 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour on Friday was set as 334.99 liras at 9.00,10.00 and 11.00 local time, and the lowest was 199.99 liras at 04.00 local time.

US$1 equals 6.11 Turkish liras on Friday at 1130 GMT.
