Spot market electricity prices for Saturday, Feb. 12

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to 680.16 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkiye's day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 1,524 Turkish liras between 00.00 and 08.00 local time (2100-0500 GMT) and at 18.00 and 20.00 local time (1500-1700 GMT), while the lowest is determined as 1,096.01 liras at 23.00 local time (2000 GMT), according to official figures on Friday.

Turkiye's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Friday's electricity market showed a decrease of 6.06% to 680.16 million liras compared to Thursday.

The arithmetical and weighted average prices of electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,440.72 liras and 1,435.96 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in the day-ahead spot market for Thursday was set as 1,524 liras between 00.00 and 12.00 local time (2100-0900 GMT) and between 14.00 and 23.00 local time (1100-2000 GMT), with the lowest at 1,520.01 liras at 13.00 local time (1000 GMT).

US$1 equals 13.48 liras at 1100 GMT on Friday.
