Spot market electricity prices for Saturday, August 26

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to around 1.26 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 2,700 Turkish liras between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1500–1800 GMT), according to official figures on Friday.

The lowest rate was set at 1,500 liras at 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Saturday's electricity market is a decrease of 16.5% to around 1.26 billion liras compared to Friday.

The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,157.20 liras and 2,166.39 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Friday was set at 2,700 liras between 3 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1200–1800 GMT), while the lowest rate was confirmed at 1,725 liras at 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT), according to official figures.

US$1 equals 26.5 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Friday.
