Spot market electricity prices for Monday, Sept. 22

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade volume amounts to 1.82 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 3,400.00 Turkish liras between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. (1400-1800 GMT), according to official figures released Sunday.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Sunday’s electricity market shows an increase of 103 to around 1.82 billion liras compared to Saturday.

The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,683.23 liras and 2,707.51 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Sunday was set at 3,389.99 Turkish liras between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. (1500-1600 GMT), while the lowest was set at 0 liras at 9 a.m. -11 p.m. local time (0600-0800 GMT), the data showed.

US$1 equals 41.39 liras at 2.38 p.m. local time (1138 GMT) on Sunday.
