Spot market electricity prices for Monday, Sept. 2

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade volume amounts to 2.19 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Tuesday will be 3,400 Turkish liras at 12 a.m. and 8 a.m. (2100 and 0500 GMT), according to official figures released Monday.

The lowest rate was set at 1,811.98 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Monday's electricity market shows a decrease of 2.7% to around 2.19 billion liras compared to Sunday.

The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 3,078.13 and 3,077.98 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt hour for Monday was set at 3,400 liras between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. (1400-1700 GMT), while the lowest was set at 2,440.99 liras at 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT), the data showed.

US$1 equals 41.11 liras at 2.10 p.m. local time (1110 GMT) on Monday.
