The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 3,000 Turkish liras at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time (1600 and 1700 GMT), according to official figures on Sunday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,862.39 liras at 3 a.m., 4 a.m. and 12 p.m. local time (0000, 0100 and 0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Monday's electricity market shows an increase of 27% to around 1.60 billion liras compared to Sunday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,435.91 liras and 2,462.30 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Sunday was set at 3,000 Turkish liras at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time (1600 - 1700 GMT), while the lowest rate was set at 1770.01 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).
US$1 equals 33.84 liras at 2.00 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Sunday.
