Spot market electricity prices for Monday, Sept. 15

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade volume amounts to 2.02 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 3,399.01 Turkish liras at 9 p.m. (1800GMT), according to official figures released Sunday.

The lowest rate was set at 1,443.59 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Sunday's electricity market shows an increase of 58.2% to around 2.02 billion liras compared to Saturday.

The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,984.77 liras and 3,005.74 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Sunday was set at 3,399.34 Turkish liras between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. (1500-1800 GMT) while the lowest was set at 35.01 liras at 11 a.m. local time (0800 GMT), the data showed.

US$1 equals 41.37 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Sunday.
