The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkey's day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 718 Turkish liras at 08.00,15.00 and between 17.00 to 19.00 local times (0500, 1200 and between 1400 to 1600 GMT), while the lowest will be 457.99 liras at 04.00 local time (0100 GMT), according to official figures on Sunday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Sunday's electricity market showed an increase of 28.8% to 338.5 million liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 609.59 liras and 611.63 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Saturday was set as 718 Turkish liras at between 18.00 to 20.00 local times (1500 to 1700GMT), while the lowest 400.01 liras at 16.00 local time (1300 GMT).
US$1 equals 8.86 Turkish liras at 1122 GMT on Sunday.
