Spot market electricity prices for Monday, Oct. 28

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to around 1.50 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 3,000 Turkish liras between 7 a.m., 8 a.m. and between 14 p.m. to 17 p.m. local time (0400, 05.00, 1700-2000 GMT), according to official figures on Sunday.

The lowest rate was set at 1,372.19 liras at 14 p.m. to local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Monday's electricity market shows an increase of 32% to around 1.50 billion liras compared to Sunday.

The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,613.13 liras and 2,616.16 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Sunday was set at 3,000 Turkish liras between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. local time (1400 -1900 GMT), while the lowest rate was set at 437 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).

US$1 equals 34.29 liras at 2.16 p.m. local time (1116 GMT) on Sunday.
