Spot market electricity prices for Monday, Nov. 10

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade volume amounts to 1.69 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 3,400 Turkish liras at 8 a.m., 9 a.m., 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. local time (0500-0600 and 1400-1500 GMT), according to official figures released Sunday.

The lowest rate was set at 1399.99 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Monday’s electricity market trade volume shows an increase of 43.7% to around 1.69 billion liras compared to Sunday.

The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,986.28 liras and 3,009.55 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Sunday was set at 3,400 Turkish liras between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time (1400-1700 GMT), while the lowest was set at 130 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.

US$1 equals 42.21 liras at 2.19 p.m. local time (1119 GMT) on Sunday.
