Spot market electricity prices for Monday, May 31

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade volume amounts to 211.5 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in the day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 449.99 Turkish liras at 11.00 and 14.00 local times and the lowest will be 319.10 liras at 06.00 local time, according to official figures on Sunday.

Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Sunday's electricity market showed an increase of 17.6% to 211.5 million liras compared to Saturday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 383.87 liras and 387.28 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market on Sunday was set as 531.99 Turkish liras at 21.00 local time and the lowest 324.96 liras at 09.000 local time.

US$1 equals 8.56 Turkish liras at 1121 GMT on Sunday.
