Spot market electricity prices for Monday, March 6

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to 1.22 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 3,050 Turkish liras at 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. (0500 and 0600 GMT), according to official figures on Sunday.

The lowest rate was set at 1,649.99 liras at 3 a.m. and 4 a.m. (0000 and 0100 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Sunday's electricity market showed an increase of 23.3% to 1.22 billion liras compared to Saturday.

The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,348.16 liras and 2,391.19 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Sunday was set as 2,899.99 Turkish liras at 7 p.m. (1600 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 1,500 liras at 5 p.m. (1500GMT), according to official figures.

US$1 equals 18.88 liras at 2.08 p.m. local time (1108 GMT) on Sunday.
