Spot market electricity prices for Monday, June 19

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data on Sunday shows electricity market trade amounts to around 782.68 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 2,299.99 Turkish liras at 9 a.m and 8 p.m. (0600 and 1700 GMT), according to official figures on Sunday.

The lowest rate was set at 979.99 liras at 5 a.m. (0200 GMT), the data confirmed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Sunday's electricity market showed an increase of 70.18% to around 782.68 million liras compared to Saturday.

The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,611.41 liras and 1,664.63 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Sunday was set at 2,000 Turkish liras between 12 a.m. (2100GMT), while the lowest rate was determined at 500 liras at 12 p.m. (0900 GMT), according to official figures.

US$1 equals 23.62 liras at 2.29 p.m. local time (1129 GMT) on Sunday.
