Spot market electricity prices for Monday, Jan. 4

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade volume amounts to 173.13 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity rate for one megawatt-hour in the day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 327.10 Turkish liras at 17.00 local time and the lowest will be 236.98 liras at 04.00 and 05.00 local times, according to official figures on Sunday.

Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Sunday's electricity market showed an increase of 12.11% to 173.13 million liras compared to Saturday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 295.70 liras and 298.30 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market on Sunday was set as 333.10 Turkish liras at 18.00 local time and the lowest 236.99 liras at 05.00 local time.

US$1 equals 7.44 Turkish liras at 1133 GMT on Sunday.
