Spot market electricity prices for Monday, Jan. 3

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to 627.42 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkey's day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 1,345 Turkish liras between 08.00-11.00 local time (0500-0800 GMT) and 16.00-17.00 (1300-1400 GMT), while the lowest will be 799.99 liras at 23.00 local time (2000GMT), according to official figures on Sunday.

Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Sunday's electricity market showed an increase of 30.1% to 627.42 million liras compared to Friday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 1.169,33 liras and 1.191,147 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Sunday was set as 1,345 Turkish liras at 11.00 local time (0800GMT), while the lowest will be 798.03 liras at 07.00 local time (0400GMT).

US$1 equals 13.32 Turkish liras at 1110 GMT on Sunday.
