Spot market electricity prices for Monday, Jan. 17

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to 643.28 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkiye's day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 1,345 Turkish liras between 08.00 and 09.00 local time (0500 and 0600 GMT), while the lowest will be 794.88 liras at 02.00 local time (2300 GMT), according to official figures on Sunday.

Turkiye's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Sunday's electricity market showed an increase of 20.16% to 643.28 million liras compared to Saturday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 1,115.35 liras and 1,139.95 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Sunday was set as 1,345 Turkish liras at 08.00 local time (0500 GMT), while the lowest was 792.73 liras at 14.00 local time (1100 GMT).

US$1 equals 13.53 Turkish liras at 1124 GMT on Sunday.
