The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 3,400.00 Turkish liras at between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 2 p.m. and 5 p.m., 6 p.m. local time (0600-0800, 1000, 1100, 1400, 1500 GMT), according to official figures released Sunday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,642.70 liras between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m local time (0000-0100 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Monday's electricity market trade volume showed an increase of 35.8% to around 1.97 billion liras compared to Sunday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,961.87 liras and 3,031.19 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Sunday was set at 3,400.00 liras at 1 p.m. local time (1000 GMT), while the lowest was set at 1,399.99 liras at 2 a.m. local time (2300 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 43.12 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Sunday.
