Spot market electricity prices for Monday, Feb. 6

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to 1.49 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 3,650 Turkish liras between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. (0600 and 0800 GMT) and between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. (1000 and 1300 GMT), according to official figures on Sunday.

The lowest rate was set at 570 liras at 5 a.m. (0200 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Sunday's electricity market showed an increase of 14.3% to 1.49 billion liras compared to Saturday.

The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,460.56 liras and 2,682.49 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Sunday was set as 3,478.99 Turkish liras at 4 p.m. (1300 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined at 1,199.99 liras at 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. (0500 and 0400 GMT), according to official figures.

US$1 equals 18.81 liras at 2.15 p.m. local time (1115 GMT) on Sunday.
