Spot market electricity prices for Monday, Feb. 5

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to around 1.62 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 2,680.01 Turkish liras at 9 a.m. local time (0600 GMT), according to official figures on Sunday.

The lowest rate was set at 2,073.08 liras at between 11 p.m. local times (2000 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Monday's electricity market shows an increase of 33.8% to around 1.62 billion Turkish liras compared to Sunday.

The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,309.20 liras and 2,326.02 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Sunday was set at 2,625 Turkish liras at 7 p.m. local time (1600 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 1,248.98 liras at between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. local times (0900 and 1100 GMT).

US$1 equals 30.54 liras at 2.37 p.m. local time (1137 GMT) on Sunday.
