The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 3,400 Turkish liras at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time (1600, 1700 GMT), according to official figures released Sunday.
The lowest rate was set at 1000.01 liras at 3 a.m local time (0000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Monday's electricity market trade volume showed an increase of 133% to around 1.34 billion liras compared to Sunday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,185.37 liras and 2,232.14 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Sunday was set at 2,876 Turkish liras at 9 p.m. local time (1800 GMT), while the lowest was set at 171.01 liras at 0 liras between 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. local time (0800-1000 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 43.83 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Sunday.
