Spot market electricity prices for Monday, Feb. 22

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade volume amounts to 167.50 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity rate for one megawatt-hour in the day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 322.11 Turkish liras at 18.00 and the lowest will be 237.64 liras at 03.00 local time, according to official figures on Sunday.

Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Sunday's electricity market showed an increase of 18% to 167.50 million liras compared to Saturday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 299.37 liras and 300.67 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market on Sunday was set as 320.55 liras at 19.00 and the lowest at 150 liras at 09.00 local time.

US$1 equals 6.96 Turkish liras at 1117 GMT on Sunday.
