Spot market electricity prices for Monday, Feb. 20

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to 1.58 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 3,650 Turkish liras at 8 a.m. (0500 GMT) and between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. (1400 and 1700 GMT), according to official figures on Sunday.

The lowest rate was set at 1,500 liras at 3 a.m. (0000 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Sunday's electricity market showed an increase of 78.9% to 1.58 billion liras compared to Saturday.

The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,904.48 liras and 3,004.88 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Sunday was set as 3,650 Turkish liras at 6 p.m. (1500 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined at 750 liras at 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. (0800 and 0900 GMT), according to official figures.

US$1 equals 18.86 liras at 2.15 p.m. local time (1115 GMT) on Sunday.
