Spot market electricity prices for Monday, Feb. 2

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade volume amounts to 1.7 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 3,400 Turkish liras at 5 p.m. local time (1400 GMT), according to official figures released Sunday.

The lowest rate was set at 1000 liras at 2 a.m. local time (2300 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Monday's electricity market trade volume showed an increase of 41.5% to around 1.7 billion liras compared to Sunday.

The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,576.34 liras and 2,653.59 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Sunday was set at 3,246 Turkish liras at 6 p.m. local time (1500 GMT), while the lowest was at 700,01 liras at 3 p.m. local time (1200 GMT), the data showed.

US$1 equals 43.36 liras at 2.10 p.m. local time (1110 GMT) on Sunday.
