Spot market electricity prices for Monday, Dec. 1

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade volume amounts to 1.83 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 3,400 Turkish liras at 8 a.m., 9 a.m. and between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (0500, 0600 and 1300-1800GMT), according to official figures released Sunday.

The lowest rate was set at 2,155.24 liras at 3 a.m. local time (0000 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Monday's electricity market trade volume showed an increase of 25.3% to around 1.83 billion liras compared to Sunday.

The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 3,058.48 liras and 3,102.40 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Sunday was set at 3,400 Turkish liras between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1400 and 1800 GMT), while the lowest was set at 2,274.99 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.

US$1 equals 42.50 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Sunday.
