The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 4,000 Turkish liras at 11.00 am and between 13.00-09.00 p.m. local times (0800 and between 1200 and 1800 GMT), according to official figures on Sunday.
The lowest rate is determined as 1,999.99 liras at 05.00 a.m. local time (0200 GMT), the figures showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Sunday's electricity market showed an increase of 53.1% to 1.86 billion liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 3,319.82 liras and 3,428.65 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Sunday was set was 3,750 Turkish liras at 8.00 p.m. and 9.00 p.m. local times (1700 and 1800 GMT) while the lowest rate was determined as 1,999.98 liras at 7.00 a.m. local time (0400 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 17.91 liras at 2.35 p.m. local time (1135 GMT) on Sunday.
