The highest electricity rate for one-megawatt hour in the day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 331.52 Turkish liras at 20.00 local time, and the lowest will be 41.42 lira at 06.00 local time, according to official figures on Sunday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the electricity market's trade volume on Saturday showed an increase of 745.7% to 84.82 million liras compared to Friday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity for the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 197.48 liras and 201.94 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour on Saturday was set as 204.99 Turkish liras at 20.00 local time, and the lowest was zero lira between 07.00 and 16.00 local times
US$1 equals 6.70 Turkish liras at 1130 GMT on Sunday.
