The highest electricity rate for one-megawatt hour in the day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 221.77 Turkish liras at 15.00 local time, the lowest will be 143.99 liras at 03.00 and 04.00 local time, according to official figures on Thursday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume in Thursday's electricity market decreased by 1.69 percent to 69.5 million liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity for the day-ahead spot market on Friday is calculated as 194.03 liras and 198.66 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour for Thursday was 225.45 liras at 14.00 local time, the lowest was 143.49 liras at 03.00 and 05.00 local time.
US$1 equals 3.44 Turkish liras, according to Turkey's Central Bank data.
