Spot market electricity prices for Friday, Sept. 29

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows trade volume as 54.65 million Turkish liras in electricity market

The highest electricity rate for one-megawatt hour in the day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 174.18 Turkish liras at 09.00 local time, the lowest will be 102.03 liras at 12.00 local time, according to official figures on Thursday.

Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume in Thursday's electricity market decreased by 0.15 percent to 54.65 million liras compared to Wednesday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity for the day-ahead spot market on Friday is calculated as 148.13 liras and 149.27 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour for Thursday was 173.99 liras at 09.00 local time, while the lowest was 50 liras at 23.00 local time.

US$1 equals 3.57 Turkish liras, according to Turkey's Central Bank data.
