Spot market electricity prices for Friday, Sept. 23

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to 1.70 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 4,464.00 Turkish liras at 07.00 a.m. (0400 GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.

The lowest rate is determined as 2,749.99 liras at 06.00 a.m. local time (0300 GMT), the figures showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Friday's electricity market showed a decrease of 6.9% to 1.70 billion liras compared to Thursday.

The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 3,720.68 liras and 3,734.125 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set as 4,799.99 liras at 07.00 a.m. (0400 GMT), while the lowest rate is determined as 2,750 liras at 05.00 a.m. local time (0200 GMT on previous day), according to official figures.

US$1 equals 18.32 liras at 02.52 p.m. local time (1152 GMT) on Thursday.
