The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkey's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 718 Turkish liras at 08.00-11.00 and between 16.00-23.00 local time (0500-0800 and between 1300-2000 GMT), while the lowest will be 451.82 liras at 04.00 local time (0100 GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Thursday's electricity market showed an increase of 3% to 360.34 million liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 642.10 liras and 641.51 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Thursday was set as 718 Turkish liras at 09.00, 10.00 and between 16.00 to 20.00 local time (06.00, 07.00 and between 13.00 to 1700 GMT), while the lowest was as 431.47 liras at 00.00 local time (2100 GMT).
