Spot market electricity prices for Friday, Oct. 29

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to 314.38 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkey's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 1,078 Turkish liras at 18.00 local times (1500 GMT), while the lowest will be 325 liras at 12.00 local time (0900 GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.

Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Thursday's electricity market showed an increase of 22.7% to 314.38 million liras compared to Wednesday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 611.98 liras and 611.01 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Thursday 1,078 Turkish liras at 08.00 and 17.00 local times (0500 and 1400 GMT), while the lowest was 454.83 liras at 04.00 local time (0100 GMT).

US$1 equals 9.63 Turkish liras at 1114 GMT on Thursday.
